The Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) officially launched at DIBS on 19th May 2024, marking a milestone in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. Dr. Misab P.T., the IIC President, emphasized the council’s mission to foster an ecosystem that encourages innovative thinking among students and faculty.
He also highlighted the importance of collaboration, research, and practical applications in driving innovation. By providing a platform for young innovators, the IIC enables them to test ideas, connect with industry experts, and develop real-world solutions. This initiative supports national goals to enhance innovation and startup culture in education.
The council comprises a diverse group of members. Faculty representatives include Mr. Misab P.T. as President, Dr. Gayathri Harish as Vice President, and Dr. Shamal S. as Internship and IPR Coordinator. Student members include Muhammed Nazirudeen as Internship Coordinator, Mohammed Akif Akmal TK for Social Media, and Diya Ubaid M. as IPR Coordinator, along with others.
Through the establishment of the IIC at DIBS, we aim to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and create a vibrant environment for growth and collaboration.
